Capsule: International Review of Radical Design & Desire Theory(2023)Capsule is delving into the world of design in its broader definition – one that encompasses interiors and architecture, fashion and technology, ecology and craft. A hybrid between a magazine and a book, paying homage to a lineage of Italian radical design to explore our relationship with desire and consumption, Capsule is released annually during Milan Design Week. Capsule: International Review of Radical Design & Desire Theory(2022)Capsule is KALEIDOSCOPE's new sibling publication delving into the world of design in its broader definition—one that encompasses interiors and architecture, fashion and technology, ecology and craft to explore our relationship with desire and consumption. A hybrid between a magazine and a book, paying homage to a lineage of Italian radical design publications while indulging in a lavish physicality, Capsule is released annually during Milan Design Week. Its title is an homage to the Nakagin Capsule Tower, one of the symbols of the Japanese Metabolism movement designed by Kisho Kurokawa and built in 1972 in Tokyo, which was recently disassembled to make way for new development.
