Abstract
Although Switzerland has so far been spared by a jihadi attack on its soil, it has been affected by the global wave of jihadist radicalization and the corollary phenomenon of so-called “foreign terrorist fighters” (FTFs). In his contribution for this Hedaya report, CSS researcher Fabien Merz reviews key results and observations of a 2019 Swiss study on the prevention of violent extremism in Switzerland, co-authored by him.
