Abstract

This second issue of the MDAD covers two topics. Two contributions study party politics – one focusing on liberal/center-right, the other focusing on the left. Seongcheol Kim analyzes the short-lived ACUM project, its roots as a movement party and its transformation into the more personalist PAS platform. Luke March and Nicoleta Mizra then examine various party projects on the left, asking whether there can emerge a “pro-EU” left or whether it is rather a “Russian left” in disguise. The issue also contains an explainer and commentary of the 2024/2025 energy crisis by Nadja Douglas, as well as a news timeline.
