Abstract
The Geneva city-region has always been a union of perceived opposites – Swiss-French, protestant-catholic, international-local, urban-rural. Today the city finds itself in a profound crisis, both social and ecological, with a fast population increase and high housing demand projected for its future. The ongoing growth and land consumption in the so-called ‚Other Geneva‘ agglomeration continue to erode vital landscapes for the region.
