Abstract

This note summarizes and combines existing laboratory and test beam measurements to parametrize the evolution with integrated delivered luminosity of the contribution to the CMS ECAL energy resolution, that might have to be expected over the years, due to the cumulative damage high-energy hadrons cause to lead tungstate. This parametrisation can be folded into investigations of how the ECAL performance in various physics channels might evolve.
