Abstract

We exploit a thermo-optically tuned interferometric coupling scheme to relax fabrication tolerances on coupling segments of microresonators in lithium niobate-on-insulator. We achieve extinction ratios up to 34 dB and show tuning of resonance bandwidth between 15 and 45 pm while maintaining extinction above 15 dB.
