Die Bristenstrasse zwischen Amsteg und St. Antoni wurde im Laufe der vergangenen Jahrzehnte wiederholt durch Felsstürze verschüttet. Nach dem letzten grossen Felsabbruch vom 19. Januar 1995 und der Wiedererstellung der Strasse wurde vom Kanton Uri eine umfassende felsmechanische Untersuchung eingeleitet, um die Stabilität bzw. die Sicherheit der Strasse nach klaren Kriterien zu beurteilen und geeignete Sicherungsmassnahmen zu definieren.

This report aims to shed some light on the interrelationship between (different types of) scenarios and risk assessment by looking more closely at risk management approaches in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. In turn, it aims to develop a more nuanced understanding of the value and limits of scenarios in risk assessment.
