Abstract
This edition discusses Georgia’s domestic political landscape. Tornike Zurabashvili reviews the results of Georgia’s 2016 parliamentary elections and assesses the post-electoral political development, focusing on the constitutional reform process and the dramatic changes in the opposition spectrum that followed the polls. Tsisana Khundadze investigates Georgia’s population’s perception of the government’s performance and overall direction of the country’s development. Rati Shubladze analyzes the different factors contributing to the generational gap between younger and older voters in Georgia. Ricardo Giucci and Anne Mdinaradze give an overview over the present state of Georgia’s economy, concluding that it is developing well. Show more
