Air pollution exposure from both outdoor and indoor sources represents the world’s largest environmental health risk. Noise is another environmental pollutant which mostly affects residents of urban areas due to commercial and industrial activities and high volume transportation. The article presents work in the development of mobile IoT device designed to measure selected environmental quality metrics, including a concentration of carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter, and noise level. All measured pollutants are georeferenced using the multi-GNSS receiver to enable mapping areas with poor environmental quality and analyzing changes in selected pollutants over a period of time.
