Abstract
For investigating the influence that a wind turbine might have on the power generator or on the grid, a turbine simulator is needed. In order to build such a simulator wind turbine model needs to be designed first. Such a model should be simple enough so that it can be used in real time, but also it should be accurate enough so that it captures all the important aspects of the wind turbine behavior. In this work we propose a wind turbine model that can be run in real time, but that is more accurate than simple turbine models already present in the electrical engineering literature. We build this model based on results obtained turbine simulation software. Our experiments show that the model we propose is very accurate when the turbine is operating near its optimal line of operation. Mehr anzeigen
