Abstract
We introduce the Absorbance Spectra-Activated Droplet Sorter for high-throughput label-free chemical identification of droplets and subsequent sorting. The 200 nm to 1050 nm droplet absorption spectra - with 0.4 nm resolution - is detected and analyzed up to 2100 spectra per second with a custom software. Our system combines an optimized design and UV-VIS absorbance down to 200 nm to quantitatively measure unlabeled proteins at 10 μM and directly track enzymatic activity by their native substrates and products.
