Abstract
Exchanging low amounts of palladium with excess copper in a heterogeneous zeolite Y catalyst leads to high Wacker activity and mitigates activity loss by reducing the extent of palladium sintering. Employing periodic regenerative treatments in oxygen to remove carbon deposits and reoxidize palladium results in the partial (but reversible) recovery of the high initial activity. Show more
