Abstract
At ETH Zurich there is a twofold lack of learning spaces: first, there are not enough learning spaces in general, and second, the existing places seldom match the students’ needs. At ETH-Library we are developing new learning and working environments by combining new services with a wide range of learning places.
For UXLabs I presented a poster (see Figure 1 over page), which traces our 4-step process from defining our users (step 1) and analysing their visiting and learning situations as ‘use cases’ (step 2), to identifying service clusters (step 3), which ETH-Library can provide to support the users in exactly these situations. The service clusters were transferred into spatial scenarios (step 4), where the mentioned services can take place in suitable surroundings. Show more
