Local Earthquake Catalog and Waveform Data – Alpine Region 1995–2007

Abstract

This dataset contains an earthquake catalog of significant earthquakes (mainly magnitudes >2.5), which occured in the greater Alpine region in the years 1995-2007. In addition, the dataset contains the corresponding available waveform files compiled from all national and regional networks operated in the greater Alpine region in this period. Events in the catalog are linked via an event-ID to the corresponding waveform files (see header of earthquake catalog file "ALPINE_Event.list" for details). All waveforms are provided in the GSE2 file format. The dataset also contains a station list with station coordinates of the seismic stations contained in the waveform data.
