Abstract
The cause and the mechanism of the erosion process during the last hundred years on the southern reed shore of Lake Neuchâtel are explained. The results of a former study are presented. They show that the annual loss of reed shore amounts to one to two meters in depth. The threatened landscape, named «La Grande Cariçaie», is the largest preserved marshland area of Switzerland and has international importance. Show more
