Abstract
This paper proposes a location choice procedure that is capable to handle long term and continuous location choice aspects. It integrates expected travel time, current location effectiveness, prospective location effectiveness, and individual unexplained location preference into a target-based model whose decision heuristic decides on the fly and with an open time horizon about future locations agents should visit. Several simulation runs illustrate agents’ location choice behavior in different situations. We conclude by suggesting directions for future research. Show more
