Building Community Resilience to Bushfires: A Case Study of Kangaroo Valley

Abstract

The aim of the project "Building Community Resilience to Bushfires" was to study the complex, multi-level, multi-disciplinary issues that have influenced the bushfire resilience of the community of Kangaroo Valley affected by the 2019/2020 Black Summer Bushfires in NSW, Australia. This case study conducted by Scott McKinnon, Alan Green, Matthew Daly, Paul Cooper, Tillmann Boehme and CSS' Christine Eriksen produced nine bushfire research briefs summarizing the key findings.
