Abstract
Food system transformation is critical to avoid earth system tipping points and achieve various sustainable development goals. This research note provides an overview of empirical research on the political economy of transforming the food and meat systems. The research note centers around the overarching question, "What are the governance and institutional conditions, policy designs, and framing interventions that can trigger positive feedback dynamics to accelerate food system transformation?". The research note derives several policy recommendations based on the empirical results related to this question. Show more
