First demonstration of high harmonic generation (HHG) in a hollow-core photonic crystal fiber
Abstract
We report the first HHG in a hollow-core photonic crystal fiber. We generate the 7 th -13 th harmonic of ap800 nm in xenon. The extremely low threshold of 0.4 muJ would be achievable by multimegahertz solid-state lasers.
