Abstract
This paper uses a case study (Gödel's proof of his incompleteness theorem) to perform a semiotic analysis of the enunciative position in a mathematical text. My attempt is to demonstrate the complexity of this enunciative position in order to link the research of mathematical textual practices to perspectives of critical theory.
