Abstract
Monitoring, reporting and verifying that carbon dioxide (CO2 ) has been captured from the atmosphere and stored durably is critical for growing confidence in carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and for driving growth. But the science and policy around developing robust systems for doing so is complex and in different stages of development for different CDR methods.
