Abstract
We demonstrate fast photorefractive two-wave mixing with a cw-laser at the telecommunication wavelength 1.55 mum for the first time in a bulk ferroelectric crystal (Sn 2 P 2 S 6 :Te). A high gain (6 cm -1 ) was achieved without applying an external E-field.
