  1. Supporting Teaching Assistants in a Community of Practice

    Bondar, V; Nuber, J; Zeyen, M; et al. (2024)
    Journal of Physics: Conference Series
We present a framework that supports physics teaching assistants in their teaching duties during exercise classes and that fosters their professional teaching development. The framework relies on the concept of Communities of Practice combining pedagogy with strategies and support for social interaction. We are discussing the positive effects of this novel approach on teaching, as well as its challenges.

    Natzke, Philipp (2024)
Limiting climate change is closely linked to the energy transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy sources and the intelligent electrification of energy supply and consumption. This process is accompanied by the implementation of wide bandgap semiconductors such as SiC and the adjustment of the whole device packaging including all components and material systems. In this spirit, this work focuses on some crucial building blocks ...

    Nature Communications
Label-free detection of multiple analytes in a high-throughput fashion has been one of the long-sought goals in biosensing applications. Yet, for all-optical approaches, interfacing state-of-the-art label-free techniques with microfluidics tools that can process small volumes of sample with high throughput, and with surface chemistry that grants analyte specificity, poses a critical challenge to date. Here, we introduce an optofluidic ...
