Abstract
Today, timber structures can reach heights of up to one-hundred meters. Recent industrial innovations and regulatory changes have propelled timber construction to unimagined dimensions in recent decades. Despite its many shortcomings and limitations, wood is very efficient due to its lightness. What's next? Architects and engineers are being asked to rethink the built future in wood.
