Abstract
Within the context of decision-support tools based on mathematical programming techniques, this contribution presents a procedure for constraints identification and classification. The aim is to manage their transformation to be applied in other decision-making levels and/or scenarios, in order to ensure coherent/integrated decision-making proposals. The procedure is based on combining ontological modelling techniques and procedures to recognize and classify constraint features. As a result, the main patterns related to the different concepts behind the constraints are identified in Conceptual Constraint Domain. Equivalences and differences between already existing formulations are systematized. Consequently, existing formulations can be easily extended, thus significantly reducing the effort required to check their consistency and/or to reuse them in different scenarios. Show more
