Controlled Living Ring-Opening-Metathesis Polymerization by a Fast-Initiating Ruthenium Catalyst
(2003)ChemInformRecently discovered metathesis catalyst (I) effects controlled living polymerization of a variety of norbornene and oxanorbornene derivatives, among them derivatives which do not undergo living polymerization with other catalysts. Structural features of the catalyst are the N-heterocyclic carbene enhancing the activity and the 3-bromopyridine ligands increasing the initiation process.Other Journal Item -
