Low-Power Data Center Transponders Enabled by Micrometer-scale Plasmonic Modulators
Abstract
Plasmonic modulators allow for high-speed data modulation beyond 200GBd at the micrometer-scale and low driving voltages below 700mV. The compact footprint enables dense integration and makes plasmonic modulators a promising solution for next-generation optical interconnects. (C) 2020 The Author(s)
